August 3 - August 7, 2026
Join our hands-on week-long Coding with AI Camp from August 3 - August 7, 2026, 12:15-3:00 PM. Students will learn the fundamentals of prompt engineering, how to direct AI tools like Cursor and Claude to write and debug code, and how to build a working project from scratch over five days. The camp cost includes access to a leading AI coding tool (either Claude or ChatGPT Codex) for each student - no separate software purchase needed. Open to students who have completed 3rd-7th grade at any experience level, with only 8 spots available. On the final day, students will present their finished projects to parents in a live showcase. The camp costs $80, with a $15 early bird discount for registrations before May 1st. Register below to secure your spot.
LEARN PROMPT ENGINEERING: Understand how to write clear, context-rich prompts that get AI to produce exactly what you need - the foundational skill behind every AI tool students will ever use.
BUILD A REAL PROJECT: Students pick their own project on Day 1 and spend the week building it with AI as their coding partner, going from a blank file to a working, demo-ready app.
MASTER THE BUILD LOOP: Learn to think like a builder - prompt, test, find what's wrong, fix it, and iterate. Students leave knowing how to debug intelligently and make progress even when things break.
SHOWCASE YOUR PROJECTS: On the last day, parents come in for a live showcase where each student presents their finished project in a 2-3 minute demo, explains how it works, and answers questions.
Hawken Parkman (7th grade) brings 5+ years of coding experience in Python and HTML, and has taught a weekly coding class at his school. Now in its second year, this camp has a track record - returning students come back because it works. With a maximum class size of 8 students, everyone gets real, personal attention. TA Jessa Parkman provides adult supervision throughout all sessions.
